From the Chinese tradition of sweeping away the dust of the old year for the Spring Festival to the Persian New Year; Spring has always embraced the idea of purifying the old and welcoming the new.

So come visit The Pool Jewelry Collective on April 14 for a drink as they embark on this journey of innovation together. The jewelry will be restored on site.

With their years of expertise as goldsmiths, Stefanie Verhoef, Sophia Zobel and Paul Derrez (former owner of Galerie Ra) will carefully examine your jewelry and restore it by polishing, checking the stone settings, or cleaning the silver and returning it to its shine.

Instead of standard pricing for restoration, they invite you to make a donation of your choice. Your donation will directly contribute to the construction of a workshop in the basement of the collectively run store in the Amsterdam Jewelry Quarter.

THE POOL - Amsterdam Jewelry Collective is an autonomous collective of fifteen professional jewelry designers, ranging from emerging to mid-career and established artists. All members of the collective are based in the Netherlands.

They have a shop in the historic heart of Amsterdam where the work of the members can be seen. The store serves as an introductory space for a wide and varied audience to view and purchase works by new and renowned talent. Every month they have a highlight exhibition with work by one of their artists.

They strive to display and sell a wide range of jewelry that is unique in concept, material and design, but which also remains accessible and affordable for a larger target group.
